As expected there was a plethora of Star Wars puns and associations...

And it's clear a number of people had been watching the news ...
"Well Jedi mind tricks certainly begin to explain the Nobel Peace prize"
"Barack ruins his chances of winning the intergalatic peace prize"
Then there were those that possibly require a parental guidance warning, but amusing all the same...
"Michelle Obama was not happy that her husband decided to show off her vibrator collection"
"Cigars are so last year, this is what keeps my wife happy"
In the end, the prize goes to Tom Johnson, whose caption was:
"If I get another term in office I shall become more powerful than you can possibly imagine"
We really have to give a special mention to Andrew Boulton, who obviously sympathised with our spam problem (now thankfully a thing of the past!!) and posted:
